It is a great honor to present you the FIRST Firehouse Dog Training Program in the State of California!
This would not have been possible without the IDTA staff, lead trainer, the handlers at Ironwood, the Firehouse Chief, Captains and handlers, and each and every one of you who have supported our mission from its humble beginnings.
The community’s support is appreciated to help us continue this partnership. Together we can provide more dogs and incarcerated individuals the opportunity for mutual rehabilitation.
We are always in need of fosters to help us prepare and medically clear dogs prior to heading to their training programs. Supplies, food and donations are always helpful as each dog sent requires food, supplies and transport.
To support this program you can visit our Amazon wishlists or make a tax deductible contribution.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting Mals House Rescue’s mission.
One of our very own Firehouse handlers paroled and adopted one of the Mals House dogs that he trained!
The impact rescue dogs have on the handlers is immense. It’s truly beautiful to see how the Firehouse and Prison Programs have transformed not only the dogs but the handlers too.
We wish you the best on your new journey together, Ma and Sam!
